The 80s were totally ninja… The end of the cold war, the first IBM PC, “Big Hair” and of course… pacman.
It’s time for a trip down memory lane, but let’s be honest… A ninja with “Big Hair” just isn’t cool! A ninja with a retro 80′s arcade machine however???
I’ve been wanting to do this for a while now but after there was talk of an arcade machine at the office, I was somehow more inclined to get on with it.
In theory this is pretty simple…
- A Raspberry Pi running the emulator (MAME etc)
- A ton of mashable inputs (Credit,1P Start, 2P start, yadda yadda)
- Two study joysticks
- Speakers
- Screen
- Keyboard & Mouse
- Chassis
Current Status
Parts ordered for Joystick interface so hopefully they’ll all arrive by the end of the week
